Glasses Direct Spring/Summer 2012 Event

20 Apr

Am a fairly sorry state of affairs at the moment, have a rogue wisdom tooth that’s causing all sorts of problems and have been off work most of this week trying to get it better. But thankfully am starting to feel a lot better thanks to some much needed rest.

In the process of what I’m beginning to call ‘painful mouth week’ I’ve forgotten to write about an event I attended last week that was divine!

Had the pleasure of being invited to the launch of the Glasses Direct Spring/Summer 2012 eyewear collections. In the heart of Soho they held a lovely little get together to display their new specs and as a glasses wearer myself I had trouble choosing a favourite, so many of them took my fancy!

The event itself was held in the fabulous Soho Hotel White Room, and me and Caitlin were treated to Tom Collins and manicures from Nail Girls on arrival! We then got the chance to have a look around their London Retro Collection, their Element designs and some of their awesome sunglasses in their Sunglass Shop.

It was a lovely treat and we got to take home a pair of sunnies, a sunglasses shaped cookie and a pretty necklace! Loved trying on all the different frames and DEFINITELY will be using my 50% voucher to get a pair in preparation for the Summer!
