Typographic, Urban and Americana Art Exhibition at 2022NQ, Manchester October 4th – 10th 2013

3 Oct

Not only is Patrick Macaulay one of the loveliest people I’ve ever known, but he’s also one of my favourite artists around today.

Patrick loves typography, and his art is heavily influenced by street art and worn, damaged materials. He also has a huge passion for Americana, having done a lot of travelling around the US (if you meet him, you can see this is in his style too!), and is also has his own Rockabilly/Hillybilly radio show in Manchester.

Patrick, and his art are full of personality and originality. Each of his pieces of art has an incredible story; with a great deal of passion going into every piece he creates.

Patrick is holding an exhibition of his artworks at 2022NQ in Manchester. He’s hosting a private viewing Friday 4th October evening from 6pm. There will then be further viewings of his works available to all Sat 5th Oct 12noon – 4pm; Tues 8th to Thurs 10th Oct 10am – 5pm.

You can see some of Patrick’s work here, or check out his Facebook page. Although looking online is lovely, I would highly recommend going to see his works in person!

Good luck Patrick!
